ANOTHER WIN BY LEEDS UNITED

Early Goals by Hodgson and Powell

AARHUS, Tuesday

Leeds United played the third match of their Danish tour here to-night and beat a Jutland team by three goals to nil after leading 2-0 at half-time. Leeds were soon two goals up, Hodgson scoring after only two minutes play, and Powell getting another two minutes later. Then the home side improved and held out against the Englishmen until half-time. Again, on the resumption, Leeds had matters all their own way and five minutes after the interval Dunderdale scored his side's third goal. This farewell match somewhat rehabilitated the Englishmen in the eyes of the Danes, who had shown some displeasure over Sunday's match, when Hodgson was sent off the field. Leeds played much quicker, and the Jutland side was never really dangerous. Hodgson and Dunderdale were the most aggressive, while Milburn and Holley played an excellent game. Both teams were entertained at a banquet after the match. Teams: Leeds United: Twomey; Goldberg, Milburn; Makinson, Holley. Browne; Henry, Dunderdale, Hodgson, Powell, Hargreaves. JUTLAND ELEVEN: A.
